Treatment Programmes
Skin by Freja Treatment Programmes bring together a considered series of clinical treatments, appropriately spaced according to the skin's natural repair and renewal processes. Depending on your concern, this may involve a course of one modality or a programme alternating complementary treatments such as Laser Genesis, microneedling or advanced chemical peels.
Some changes in the skin simply cannot — and should not — be expected from a single treatment.
Collagen production, cellular renewal, vascular change, pigmentation and the remodelling of scar tissue all occur gradually. For clients wishing to work towards a specific skin goal, a structured treatment programme allows us to create change progressively,
with each treatment building upon the last.
Your programme is never treated as a rigid protocol. Skin is continually changing, and its response is assessed throughout the course so treatment parameters, timing and supporting skincare can be adapted where necessary.
Treatment programmes are particularly valuable when working with concerns such as collagen loss, fine lines, acne scarring, uneven texture, enlarged pores, redness, pigmentation, congestion and overall skin quality — or for clients simply seeking a more considered, long-term approach to maintaining healthy skin.

A progressive collagen induction programme designed to improve skin quality through repeated cycles of controlled stimulation, repair and remodelling.
While a single microneedling treatment can improve radiance and texture, its greatest value comes from consistency. Each treatment initiates a new wound-healing response, encouraging collagen and elastin production that continues to develop in the weeks following treatment.
A course of four allows these responses to build progressively and is particularly suited to general skin rejuvenation, early collagen depletion, fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture and mild post-acne changes.

The Laser Genesis Facial | Course of 4
A progressive course designed to improve redness, texture, tone and overall skin quality while supporting healthy collagen production.
Laser Genesis uses 1064nm laser energy to gently heat the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen while targeting the microvasculature associated with diffuse redness. Repeated treatments allow this response to build gradually, making a course particularly valuable for clients working with redness, rosacea-prone skin, fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture, dullness and early loss of firmness.
Each session is delivered as the complete Laser Genesis Facial, combining the clinical benefits of laser with customised skin preparation, bespoke exfoliation Dermalix LED, massage, masque and restorative finishing formulations.

Cellular Renewal Programme

A targeted skin rejuvenation programme combining two complementary methods of collagen stimulation to improve texture, tone and overall skin quality.
Rather than repeatedly treating the skin through one pathway, the Cellular Renewal Programme alternates the Laser Genesis Facial and microneedling, allowing us to create different forms of controlled stimulation while giving the skin appropriate time to repair and remodel between treatments.

BioRePeel | Course of 4
A progressive resurfacing programme designed to improve clarity, congestion, pigmentation, texture and overall skin renewal with relatively minimal downtime.
BioRePeel combines 35% TCA with a complex of additional acids, amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants. Across a course, repeated controlled exfoliation and biostimulation can help regulate cellular turnover, refine surface texture and progressively improve the appearance of congestion and uneven tone.
A course of four is particularly suited to congested or acne-prone skin, enlarged pores, dullness, superficial pigmentation, post-acne changes, uneven texture and early signs of ageing.

Dermalux LED | Course of 4
A focused course of medical-grade LED phototherapy designed to provide additional support when the skin is inflamed, reactive, compromised or recovering.
Using the Dermalux Tri-Wave MD, wavelengths are prescribed according to the skin and indication rather than using one universal programme. Depending on what we're treating, this may include Blue 415nm, Red 633nm, Near-Infrared 830nm or an appropriate combination.
A short course can be particularly useful for acute inflammation, inflamed acne, impaired barrier function, reactive skin and post-procedure recovery, or where additional phototherapy has been prescribed between other treatments.

The Total Collagen Remodelling Programme combines three Laser Genesis Facials with three microneedling treatments, creating six opportunities for controlled collagen stimulation across complementary treatment pathways.
Laser Genesis works through controlled dermal heating to stimulate collagen and support vascular concerns, while microneedling initiates a regenerative wound-healing response that encourages collagen and elastin formation and remodelling. Treatment Programme FAQs
How do I know which programme is right for me?
You don't need to decide based on the treatment technology alone.
The right programme depends on what we're trying to change, how your skin is currently functioning, the amount of downtime you're comfortable with and how quickly or gradually we should work.
If you're unsure, we can establish the most appropriate pathway following consultation and skin assessment.
Why choose a programme instead of individual treatments?
Many of the processes we're trying to influence — particularly collagen production, scar remodelling and vascular change — happen gradually.
A programme creates the consistency required to work with these biological processes over time. It also allows me to assess how your skin responds from one treatment to the next and progressively adjust the plan, rather than treating every appointment in isolation.
Some clients visit monthly, others fortnightly or seasonally. Your recommended frequency will depend entirely on your skin, goals, homecare, lifestyle and any other treatments we're incorporating.
Committing to a programme also offers a saving on your overall treatment investment, while giving us the time and consistency to work towards longer-term change.
Are treatment programmes completely fixed?
No. The number of included treatments is fixed, but how we approach your skin within those appointments remains personalised.
Treatment intensity, timing, professional formulations and other elements may be adjusted according to how your skin presents and responds throughout the programme.
What's the difference between the Cellular Renewal and Total Collagen Remodelling Programmes?
Both combine Laser Genesis and microneedling, but they are designed for different levels of correction.
The Cellular Renewal Programme includes four treatments — two Laser Genesis Facials and two microneedling treatments — and is a beautiful introduction to combined collagen stimulation for early changes in texture, tone and skin quality.
The Total Collagen Remodelling Programme includes six treatments — three of each — giving us a longer period to work progressively with more established concerns such as scarring, texture, fine lines and loss of firmness.
Can I swap treatments within my programme?
Treatment programmes are designed around a specific number and combination of modalities for a reason, so treatments aren't generally interchangeable.
If your skin changes significantly or a planned treatment becomes temporarily unsuitable, we can reassess the programme and determine the most appropriate way forward.
Do I need to complete treatments at specific intervals?
Yes. Appropriate spacing is part of the treatment itself.
Treatments such as microneedling and Laser Genesis initiate biological processes that continue well beyond the appointment. Performing treatments too closely together doesn't necessarily create better or faster change.
Your recommended schedule will be established according to the modalities involved and how your skin is responding.
Do treatment programmes expire?
Yes. Treatment programmes expire two years from the date of purchase.
The intention is for treatments to be completed within the clinically recommended timeframe wherever possible so each appointment can meaningfully build upon the previous one. The two-year expiry allows flexibility for life, travel and unexpected interruptions without losing sight of the purpose of undertaking a structured programme.
Can I purchase a programme before having a consultation?
If you're an existing client and we've already discussed your skin and treatment goals, absolutely.
For new clients — particularly those considering the combined Cellular Renewal or Total Collagen Remodelling Programmes — I recommend having your skin assessed first so we can make sure the programme is appropriate before you commit.
Are treatment programmes suitable during pregnancy?
Some of the clinical modalities included within these programmes are not performed during pregnancy, including Laser Genesis.
If you're pregnant, planning a pregnancy or your circumstances change during an existing programme, please let me know so we can discuss the safest and most appropriate way to manage your remaining treatments.
What happens after I finish my programme?
We reassess.
For some clients, completing the programme marks the transition into occasional maintenance treatments. For others, we may shift our focus to a different concern or modality depending on how the skin has changed.
The aim isn't to keep you permanently on a treatment course. It is to use structured treatment where it adds value, then determine what your skin actually needs next.
