How is the facial personalised?
Your skin is assessed at the beginning of every appointment and the treatment is refined accordingly. Product, application, exfoliation, LED wavelength, massage technique, masque and finishing formulations may all change from one visit to the next. Your skin isn’t static, and your facial shouldn’t be either.
How often should I have a Fundamental Bespoke Facial?
For ongoing skin health, approximately every four to six weeks can work beautifully, although there is no fixed schedules. Some clients visit monthly, fortnightly, others seasonally, and you recommended frequency will depend entirely on your skin goals, homecare, lifestyle and any other treatments we are incorporating.
Is there downtime?
Generally no. Depending on the exfoliation and techniques selected, there may be some mild temporary flushing or erythema, but the treatment is designed to leave the skin calm, hydrated and radiant.
Can I have this facial if I have sensitive skin?
Yes. Because nothing is predetermined, the treatment is entirely customised and adapted for sensitive, reactive or barrier-impaired skin. In these cases the focus may shift towards reducing inflammation, replenishing hydration and supporting barrier function rather than stimulating the skin unnecessarily.
Can I have it during pregnancy?
Yes. Products and modalities are adapted to ensure the treatment is appropriate during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
What can I add to the Fundamental?
Dermaplaning may be added where appropriate. If your skin requires more advanced modalities or you simply want more time for massage and deeper treatment, the Signature may be your better choice.

The Signature Bespoke Facial (90 mins)
Everything the Fundamental offers, with additional time to incorporate more advanced modalities, longer massage sequences and deeper work where appropriate..
The Signature is an immersive treatment, building upon the foundations of the Fundamental, with additional time to work more comprehensively with both the skin and the nervous system.
The treatment remains entirely bespoke, but the extended appointment allows greater flexibility to incorporate advanced modalities, more targeted correction and longer massage sequences according to what will benefit your skin on the day.
This may mean deeper exfoliation, additional time for extractions, advanced infusion techniques or technologies such as ultrasound, microcurrent or radiofrequency. For another skin, more time may be devoted to extended manual work, lymphatic drainage, sculpting or restoring a compromised skin barrier.
Massage and intentional touch form an integral part of the treatment, supporting circulation and lymphatic flow, releasing areas of held tension and creating the conditions for the nervous system to down-regulate. It is this interplay between active skin treatment and deep restoration that defines the Signature.
Skin is left luminous, replenished and balanced, while the effects of the treatment are felt well beyond the complexion.

What is the difference between the Fundamental and Signature?
Primarily, time and treatment possibilities. Both are completely personalised, but the additional 15 minutes within the Signature gives us greater scope for advanced modalities, more targeted treatment and extended facial massage. If the Fundamental is the foundation, the Signature allows us to work more deeply.
Do more of the advanced modalities listed get used in every Signature Facial?
No and intentionally so. More isn't necessarily better. Ultrasound, microcurrent, radiofrequency, peels and other techniques are incorporated only where they make sense for your skin and treatment goals.
Is there downtime?
Usually little to none, although this depends on the modalities and exfoliation selected. If a more active peel or treatment is appropriate, any expected downtime will be discussed with you beforehand.
How often should I have the Signature?
This depends entirely on your treatment plan. It can be enjoyed as a regular four-to-six-week treatment, alternated with clinical treatments, or booked whenever you’re needing a more comprehensive facial experience.
Is it pregnancy safe?
The Signature can be adapted during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
What are the available add-ons?

Designed to address tension, structural imbalance and skin function in one fully integrated 90-minute treatment.
The Sculpt works beyond the skin alone, moving through the interconnected layers of the face - skin, fascia, muscle and lymphatic pathways, while also creating space for the nervous system to settle - using advanced manual techniques selected according to how your skin and self present on the day.
Sculptural massage, myofascial techniques, lymphatic drainage, facial cupping, gua sha and intraoral/buccal massage may be incorporated to release held tension, encourage circulation and lymphatic movement, improve tissue mobility and soften repetitive muscular patterns.
Intraoral work allows access to deeper facial muscles that cannot be reached externally and can be particularly valuable through the jaw and lower face, providing temporary relief from muscular symptoms associated with TMJ dysfunction.
Working deeply across the face, neck and beyond, the treatment releases restriction, encourages lymphatic movement and circulation, and softens areas of held muscular tension. The Sculpt Facial FAQs
What is buccal or intraoral massage?
Buccal massage is performed from inside the mouth using gloves, allowing direct access to deeper muscles of the cheeks, jaw and lower face that cannot be reached in the same way externally. It can help release muscular tension and restriction while complementing the external sculptural work.
Does buccal massage hurt?
It shouldn't be painful, although areas carrying significant tension can feel tender. Much like massage elsewhere on the body, there may be moments of intensity as tight tissue is worked. Pressure and technique are always adjusted to you.
Will every Sculpt Facial include buccal massage?
No. The treatment is tailored according to your anatomy, tension patterns, goals and any contraindications. Buccal massage is one tool within a much broader manual treatment rather than the sole focus of the facial.
Can it help with TMJ?
The Sculpt Facial does not treat or cure temporomandibular joint disorders. However, by working with muscular tension through the jaw and surrounding tissues, it may provide temporary relief from some of the muscular symptoms associated with clenching, grinding or TMJ dysfunction. Persistent or complex symptoms should also be assessed by an appropriate dental or healthcare professional.
Will I look more sculpted afterwards?
Many clients notice an immediate reduction in puffiness and greater definition through the face following treatment. Some of this is the result of improved fluid movement and reduced muscular tension, so results naturally vary and aren't permanent. Regular treatment can help support tissue mobility and manage recurring tension or fluid stagnation over time.
Is there downtime?
There is no traditional downtime. Deeper fascial or muscular work can occasionally leave areas mildly tender afterwards, particularly where significant tension has been held. As the treatment incorporates lymphatic drainage and encourages fluid movement. Staying well hydrated and allowing the body a little time to rest afterwards is recommended.
Most clients, however, leave feeling noticeably lighter, deeply relaxed and able to continue with their day as normal.
How often should I have a Sculpt Facial?
A single treatment can create a noticeable sense of release and visible freshness. For persistent jaw tension, puffiness or muscular restriction, a closer series may initially be beneficial before moving into regular maintenance. Frequency is tailored to the individual.
Who shouldn't have buccal or deep sculptural work?
The treatment may need to be modified or postponed following recent dental work or oral surgery, active cold sores or oral infections, recent cosmetic procedures or injectables, certain facial injuries, or where there are open wounds or active inflammation.
Deep sculptural work may also be unsuitable during active or inflamed skin conditions, including inflammatory acne, rosacea flares, dermatitis or psoriasis affecting the treatment area.
Client suitability will always be assessed prior to treatment, and techniques can be adapted or omitted where necessary according to the condition of your skin, medical history and any recent procedures.
Is the Sculpt Facial pregnancy safe?
The Sculpt Facial may be performed after the first trimester of pregnancy, with the treatment adapted as needed for comfort and suitability. Certain techniques, products or modalities may be modified or omitted, and individual suitability will always be assessed prior to treatment.
