PROGRESSIVE RENEWAL. MINIMAL DISRUPTION.

BioRePeel

A bi-phase peel designed to improve congestion, pigmentation, texture and signs of ageing while stimulating skin renewal with surprisingly little downtime.

BioRePeel contains 35% trichloroacetic acid (TCA) alongside a complex of additional acids, amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants. While traditional TCA peels are often associated with significant surface peeling and downtime, BioRePeel's biphasic formulation allows us to work more progressively, combining keratolytic exfoliation with regenerative stimulation while limiting excessive disruption to the surface of the skin.

The treatment helps loosen the bonds between accumulated surface cells, clear congestion and accelerate cellular turnover, while its deeper stimulatory action supports collagen and elastin production over time. This makes it particularly useful for skin experiencing breakouts and blocked pores, post-acne changes, pigmentation, uneven texture, enlarged pores, dullness and early signs of ageing.

Skin is thoroughly assessed and prepared before the peel is applied section by section and carefully worked into the skin. The treatment is completed with customised pre and post-peel care and Dermalux LED Light Therapy, helping to calm the skin and support recovery.

While a single BioRePeel can create a noticeable improvement in brightness, smoothness and clarity, it is particularly effective when performed as a course, allowing the effects of cellular renewal and collagen stimulation to build progressively between treatments.

Biorepeel FAQs
What is BioRePeel?

BioRePeel is an Italian-developed, professional biphasic chemical peel containing 35% TCA alongside a combination of other acids, amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants.

It has both exfoliating and biostimulating actions, making it useful for improving surface concerns such as congestion and uneven texture while also supporting longer-term skin renewal.

How is BioRePeel different from a traditional TCA peel?

The 35% TCA concentration can sound intimidating because traditional TCA peels are commonly associated with significant redness, peeling and downtime.

BioRePeel is formulated differently. Its biphasic technology combines the acid phase with a lipophilic phase, allowing the treatment to deliver its exfoliating and stimulatory effects without creating the same degree of visible surface injury associated with a traditional high-downtime TCA peel.

This means we can achieve meaningful stimulation with considerably less disruption to everyday life.

Will my skin peel?

Despite its name, significant sheet peeling isn't the intention of BioRePeel.

Some clients experience little to no visible shedding, while others may notice mild dryness, tightness or light flaking in the days following treatment. The absence of visible peeling doesn't mean the treatment hasn't worked — cellular renewal and stimulation do not need to produce dramatic shedding to be effective.

Does BioRePeel hurt?

Most clients tolerate the treatment very well. You may experience tingling, warmth or a mild prickling sensation while the peel is on the skin, particularly around more sensitive areas.

The sensation is temporary and your skin is monitored throughout treatment.

What will my skin look like afterwards?

Skin often appears immediately brighter, smoother and more refined. Mild flushing can occur following treatment but generally settles relatively quickly.

Over the following days, you may experience some dryness, tightness or light flaking as cellular turnover progresses.

Is there downtime?

BioRePeel has minimal downtime compared with traditional medium-depth TCA peels, although every skin responds differently.

Some clients experience almost no visible downtime; others may notice mild redness, dryness or light flaking for several days. More reactive skin or combination treatments may produce a more noticeable response.

Is BioRePeel best performed as a course?

Yes. A single treatment can be beautiful for refreshing dull or congested skin, but a course is generally recommended when we're working towards more meaningful change in acne, pigmentation, texture, pores or signs of ageing.

The number and frequency of treatments will depend on your skin and concern, but treatments are typically performed as a series before moving into maintenance where appropriate.

When will I see improvement?

Brightness and smoothness may be noticeable relatively quickly following treatment.

Concerns that depend on cellular renewal and collagen remodelling — such as texture, post-acne changes and fine lines — require more time and tend to improve progressively across a treatment course.

Can BioRePeel help acne and congestion?

Yes. Its keratolytic action can be particularly useful for congested, acne-prone skin, helping to loosen accumulated keratin and clear blocked follicles while supporting more regulated cellular turnover.

However, acne has multiple possible drivers. Rather than relying on peeling alone, I generally consider BioRePeel within a broader plan that may include homecare, barrier support and other treatments according to what is contributing to the skin.

Can BioRePeel help pigmentation?

It can be useful for certain forms of superficial pigmentation and post-inflammatory discolouration by supporting exfoliation and cellular turnover.

As with laser, however, not all pigmentation should be treated in the same way. Pigment depth, inflammation, UV exposure and hormonal influences all matter, particularly with conditions such as melasma. Your pigmentation will therefore be assessed before deciding whether BioRePeel is appropriate.

Can BioRePeel help acne scarring?

BioRePeel may help improve superficial post-acne texture and discolouration, but more established atrophic scarring often requires collagen-remodelling treatments such as microneedling.

Where appropriate, the two treatments can also be combined as part of a more comprehensive skin revision programme.

Can BioRePeel be combined with microneedling?

Yes, in appropriately selected skins. BioRePeel can be added to Dermapen microneedling where additional resurfacing and regenerative stimulation would be beneficial.

Combining treatments creates greater stimulation, however, so it isn't automatically appropriate for everyone. Barrier function, inflammation, sensitivity and previous treatment response are assessed first.

Can BioRePeel be added to the Laser Genesis Facial?

Yes, where appropriate. BioRePeel may be incorporated as an add-on to the Laser Genesis Facial when additional resurfacing, clarity or treatment of congestion is desired.

Again, more modalities aren't necessarily better; the combination is selected only when it makes sense for the skin.

Is LED included?

Dermalux LED Light Therapy can be used following BioRePeel to help calm the skin and support cellular repair after treatment. The programme is customised according to your skin and its response on the day, and used only for indicated skins.

How should I prepare for BioRePeel?

Avoid arriving with sunburned, irritated or significantly compromised skin. Retinoids, exfoliating acids and other highly active products may need to be paused beforehand depending on your regime and skin sensitivity.

Please let me know about medications, recent cosmetic procedures, active skin conditions or changes to your medical history before treatment.

What should I avoid afterwards?

For the immediate post-treatment period, the priority is allowing the skin to recover without unnecessary additional stimulation.

Avoid exfoliating acids, retinoids, scrubs and other irritating actives until advised to reintroduce them. Excessive heat, strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms and direct sun exposure should also be avoided initially.

Do not pick or exfoliate any dryness or flaking. Daily SPF and sensible sun protection are essential.

Who shouldn't have BioRePeel?

Treatment may need to be postponed or avoided where there is:

/ Active infection or cold sores
/ Open or compromised skin
/ Significant barrier impairment
/ Active dermatitis, eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area
/ Acute rosacea or inflammatory flare
/ Recent significant UV exposure or sunburn
/ Known allergy or sensitivity to treatment ingredients
/ Certain medications or medical conditions that affect skin healing or peel suitability
/ Recent procedures requiring an appropriate recovery interval

Client suitability will always be assessed prior to treatment. If the skin is inflamed, compromised or simply isn't in the right condition for a peel, we will focus on restoring stability first.

Is BioRePeel pregnancy safe?

BioRePeel is not performed during pregnancy.

What should I know before booking?

BioRePeel is active, but more peeling isn't the measure of a better treatment. The aim isn't to create dramatic shedding or unnecessary inflammation; it's to create controlled exfoliation and stimulation while preserving the skin's ability to recover well.

For persistent congestion, pigmentation, texture or signs of ageing, it is best thought of as part of a considered treatment course and homecare plan, rather than a one-off aggressive peel.
